For a living, I create software to help scientific researchers at an academic medical center. Broadly, my field is translational research, which helps medical research as a whole make solutions quicker, cheaper, and more effective. As a hobby, I read about two books a week (100+ per year) and post a lengthy review on almost everything. My reading interests are broad and include professional, religious, philosophical, and personal interests.
