I use LT for cataloguing all books I've ever read, any physical media I own (see collection "Physically-owned non-books"), as well as visual novels/most other interactive fiction I play no matter what form I own them in because I find them to be closely literature-adjacent. Currently missing random smatterings of all 3, though.
Most of my books will be library books or things grabbed from Little Libraries/BookCrossing books/etc since I don't have a lot of money.
I have a very bad habit of adding books to my "to read" pile WAY faster than I can read them!!

- Religion, spirituality, mysticism
- Religion-wise, my main interests are in non-Abrahamic religions, but I do have a strange soft spot for Mormonism
- Even though I know it's not legit, astrology is a big favourite of mine
- Computer science and programming
- Fantasy, sci-fi
- Big favourite of mine is sci-fi that manages to also feel like fantasy (Dune, The Left Hand of Darkness are ones I'd say fall under this)
- Anything featuring non-human, post-human, etc. characters
- Weird, unusual, and/or messed up fiction
- Vivid characters are also a big one!
- A solid story with flat characters will probably lose me; a flat story with vibrant and distinctive characters might be enough for me
