Typical programmer book - lots of typos, more toward the back. The instructor simplified difficult terms, and used good examples for concepts such as encapsulation and polymorphism. However, that simplification also left a lot of material out. Additionally, much of the book focused on Visual C# rather than C#. Lots of good tips for Visual Studio though, with thorough walk-throughs on each device.
I also liked how he forced the reader to use VS's built-in documentation so that the user is more show more self-sufficient after the book is finished. show less
This is an excellent book. Concise and for the most part well written although a little more detail would have been nice at times.
