Advertisement text (20 May): "ON Thursday next the 22d Instant will be exposed to Sale the Library of the Reverend and Learned Mr. Peter Thacher, late of Boston, deceased, at the House of the said deceased in Bennet-Street near Dr. Cutler's Church. The Price is marked in each Book, and a printed Catalogue of the whole may be had to Morrow in the Afternoon at the Place of Sale, and at the Printing House in Queenstreet."
Advertisement text (22 May): "THIS Day being the 22d Instant, at Three o'Clock Afternoon will be exposed to Sale a Collection of curious and valuable BOOKS, being the Library of the Reverend and Learned Mr. Peter Thacher of Boston, deceased, at the Dwelling House of the said Deceased, in Bennet-Street near Dr. Cutler's Church. The Sale to continue Die in Diem till all the Books are Sold. The Price is marked at the beginning of each Book. Catalogues may be had Gratis at the Place of Sale, and at the Printing House in Queen-Street."
Advertisement text (8 and 15 July): "THE Remainder of the Books belonging to the Library of the late Rev. Mr. Thacher of Boston, are still to be Sold at his Dwelling House near Dr Cutler's Church; and for as much as his Relict Mrs. Hannah Thacher, is about removing from said House, she will sell the remaining Books cheaper than the marked Price, that so this Sale may be the more speedily finish'd."
