The book discusses the illusion of this physical world and how we can awaken to our true spiritual nature. Renard's writing is clear and accessible, and he uses his own experiences to illustrate the teachings. While some may find the concepts challenging, those who are open to it will find much wisdom within these pages. Freudian concepts of unconscious guilt are prevelant, and brought to the fore with zeal. Forgiveness is emphasized as the ultimate method for finding a path to the truth, and complements very well concepts in buddism, and Christianity. Renard does a good job of reconciling Eastern and Western philosophies; his Socratic method of dialogue with "ascended masters" may be viewed with tongue in cheek as apposed to taking literally. However, the message and power at times is no less relevant no matter what the style or source.… (more)
